I'm A Jerk Burger
1 lb ground hamburger
1 package dry Lipton or Campbell's onion soup mix
1/4 Cup I'm A Jerk wet rub
2 teaspoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 package Kaiser buns
Fresh tomato slices (optional)
Provolone cheese slices (optional)
Lettuce leaves (optional)
Dill Pickle slices (optional)
Mayonnaise (optional)
Smoke House Sweet BBQ sauce (optional)
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients. Form the mixture into patties and
grill or fry until done. Add condiments of your choice and enjoy. Makes
approximately 4 small burgers.
Jamaican Shrimp and Pasta
3 cups penne pasta
1 Tb olive oil
1 Tb salt
2 portabella mushroom caps, chopped coarsely
1 red bell pepper, chopped coarsely
3 green onions chopped coarsely
2 cloves garlic, chopped coarsely
3 stalks celery, chopped coarsely
¼ cup Stribwings I'm A Jerk Sauce
2 Tb balsamic vinegar
2 Tb olive oil
1 lb medium to large shrimp (peeled)
Put mushrooms, bell pepper, green onions, garlic, celery, Stribwings I'm
A Jerk Sauce, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil in a bowl to marinate for
5 – 10 mins.
Boil pasta with 1 Tb olive oil, 1 Tb salt.
Meanwhile, heat a large skillet on medium high, add 2 Tb olive oil. When
hot, add contents of marinating bowl, sauté for 5 – 7 minutes. Add
shrimp, cook for additional 5 – 7 minutes until shrimp is pink. Serve in
bowls, garnish with lemon wedge and fresh sprig of basil.
Serves 4
Hungry Man Casserole
1 lb ground hamburger
2 large cans Bush's baked beans, bold flavor
1 small to medium onion, chopped
5 oz Smoke House Sweet BBQ Sauce
1 pkg Grands biscuits
1 cup shredded medium or sharp cheddar cheese
In a skillet, add hamburger and onion. Brown hamburger till cooked
through, drain any extra grease. In a 2 quart casserole dish add
hamburger onion mixture and 5 oz of Smoke 'N Blazes BBQ sauce. Drain
excess fluid from baked beans and add to hamburger mixture. Mix and
place in oven at 375 degrees for approximately 30 minutes. Take
casserole out of the oven and place biscuits around the top. Sprinkle
cheese on top and place back in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until
biscuits are done. Take out of the oven and serve.
Smoke House Sweet Meatballs
3 lbs ground hamburger
1 cup milk
2 cups quick oats (oatmeal)
2 eggs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 onion chopped small
1 Table spoon minced garlic
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp chili powder
22 oz. bottle of Smoke House Sweet BBQ sauce
Mix all ingredients except the BBQ sauce. Form meatballs and place in
baking dish. (I use a cake pan to collect all the juices) Pour BBQ
sauce over the top and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve over rice
or by its self. You could also try this using the Kona Coast Bourbon
Espresso Sauce in place of the Smoke House Sweet.
